Brian Bauer – President/Chief Executive Officer
Brian Bauer is the president and chief executive officer for the Workforce Development Board of the Treasure Coast /dba CareerSource Research Coast, which consists of a board of directors who represent a group of 23 volunteers, mostly from the private business sector, who identify workforce issues and bring together community resources to develop and deliver programs and services to the local workforce area.
CareerSource Research Coast is one of 24 local workforce development boards who comprise the CareerSource Florida network and are charged with making Florida the global leader of talent.
With over 17 years of experience working in the workforce development arena, Mr. Bauer is proudest of being involved with assisting businesses find and obtain qualified, skilled talent and career seekers with employment and career development opportunities. His dedication to the community and those he serves is evident by the organizations to which he has or currently serves on, such as the Treasure Coast Manufacturers Association, Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County, Roundtable of St. Lucie County, Indian River County Economic Development Council and Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County.
Mr. Bauer received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University and is a graduate of the Computer Network Administration program from Keiser University. He holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional and CompTia A+ and Network + Certified professional. He is a graduate of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce Foundation Leadership St. Lucie program.
