Program Funding

In compliance with the Stevens Amendment, funding details for program year 21-22 are provided as follows (Note: this includes carry forward funding from prior program years):

Workforce Development Board of the Treasure Coast/DBA CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC) has entered into a contract with Eckerd Connects, Inc. to support the following program, which is fully supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,713,229.

 

  • Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program. Under this subrecipient agreement, Eckerd has received $1 million or 58 percent of allocated funds.

CSRC is a direct service provider for the following programs, which are fully supported by the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and/or the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of awards totaling $9,646,303:

  • The WIOA Adult Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,085,046.
  • The WIOA Dislocated Workers Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $2,726,902.
  • The Welfare Transition Program is supported by the U.S Department of Health and Human Services as part of an award totaling $1,063,369.
  • WIOA Rapid Response is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $93,455.
  • The Department of Children and Families Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is supported by the U.S Department of Agriculture as part of an award totaling  $216,056.
  • The Wagner-Peyser Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,050,807.
  • The Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (TAA) is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $280,497.
  • The Local Veteran Employment Representative and the Disabled Veteran Outreach Program are supported by the U.S. Department of Labor for veteran’s employment and training as part of an award totaling $465,793.
  • The WIOA Sector Strategies Apprenticeship Programs are supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $257,548.
  • The WIOA Apprentice Navigator is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $42,820.
  • The Recovery Navigator Project is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $260,870.
  • The WIOA Performance Incentives are supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $66,247.
  • The WIOA Youth Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $713,229.
  • The WIOA Florida Restart and Recovery Grant funding is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $398,796.
  • The National Dislocated Worker COVID-19 Grant is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $924,868.

CSRC has also received non-federal grant funding from the following community partners:

  • The Youth Summer of Success St. Lucie County Program is fully supported by the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners and Allegany Franciscan Ministries as part of an award totaling $300,000.
  • The Youth Summer of Success Martin County Program is fully supported by the Children’s Services Council of Martin County as part of an award totaling $45,000.
  • The Families Ascent to Economic Security (FATES) Program is supported by Florida Children’s Services Council and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation as part of an award totaling $125,000.
  • The Florida Rebuilds Program is fully supported by Indian River State College as part of an award totaling $32,721.

CSRC has received federal grant funding from the following community partners:

  • The Recover St. Lucie Workforce Training and Development programs were made possible by the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners, which has received federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds from the State of Florida. As part of the St. Lucie County CARES Economic Recovery programs, the Recover St. Lucie Workforce Training and Development programs are fully supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1 million.
