Welfare Transition

The Welfare Transition Program (WTP) provides emphasis on work and personal responsibility as well as opportunities for temporary cash assistance recipients to achieve self-sufficiency. To be eligible for the program and benefits, you must first apply with the Florida Department of Children and Families. Complete the WTP Orientation and Assessment and register in Employ Florida prior to scheduling your orientation with CareerSource Research Coast.

SNAP

CareerSource Research Coast can help Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients who have received a Notice of Mandatory Participation from the Florida Department of Children and Families identify the activities required to retain benefits. SNAP customers must complete the online orientation and online assessment before being seen by a SNAP Career Planner.
