Summer of Success

Registration for Summer of Success 2023 is now closed.

During Summer of Success, eligible youth will attend Youth Employment Success Solutions (YESS) training where they will learn valuable skills to help them succeed in the workplace. Those who complete the classroom portion of the program will then participate in an internship where they will earn while they learn.

Eligibility

Eligibility requirements vary based on county. Applicants must reside in a participating county, submit the required documents and application, and be able to complete the program in its entirety. Please see program flyers for documentation requirements and additional information.

How to Apply

We have reach program capacity and are now accepting applications for the waitlist. Applications will close on Friday, May 5.

Employer Hosting Opportunity!

Summer of Success Program Seeks Employers to Host Youth Interns!

Private, non-profit, and public companies are invited to provide short-term, meaningful internship opportunities. Internships are needed for youth residing in participating counties. Youth are compensated through the program at no cost to the sponsoring company for up to 32 hours per week for four to six weeks. All participants attend Youth Employment Success Solutions (YESS) training prior to placement. Youth are matched to a worksite according to career interests and geographical location. Employers interested in hosting youth for 2022 may contact us at summerofsuccess@careersourcerc.com.
