Summer Funding Opportunity for Teen Programs Now Accepting Applications

St. Lucie County, FL – Summer is approaching, and CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC) is excited to announce an exclusive funding opportunity for organizations offering summer programs for teenagers, which includes a component addressing teen pregnancy prevention. Through this initiative, CSRC aims to support and enhance existing programs while addressing critical issues such as teen pregnancy prevention.

CSRC invites organizations providing summer programs for boys and girls aged 13 to 19 to apply for additional funding to bolster their initiatives. The funding is intended to enrich program offerings, expand outreach, and ensure that teenagers have access to comprehensive and engaging activities during the summer months.

“Summer programs play a vital role in keeping teens active, engaged, and on a positive path,” said Brian Bauer, President/CEO of CareerSource Research Coast. “By supporting organizations that serve youth, we’re helping create safe spaces where teens can build life skills, explore new interests, and make healthy choices during the summer months.”

Eligible organizations must include a component within their programs that addresses teen pregnancy prevention, aligning with CSRC’s commitment to promoting healthy behaviors and positive decision-making among adolescents.

Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their applications between April 28 and May 9, 2025. To sign up and learn more about this funding opportunity, please visit ‘TANF Application’.

CSRC remains dedicated to fostering partnerships and collaborations that empower youth and strengthen communities. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of teenagers and pave the way for a brighter future.
