CareerSource Research Coast’s Career Centers Closure Update

CSRC LogoTREASURE COAST, FL — CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC) has announced that while its Martin County and Indian River County Career Centers will close as of Friday, September 27, the Fort Pierce Career Center will remain open for job seekers and workshop attendees through the end of the year. This temporary extension ensures that services continue while construction of the new Comprehensive Career Center in St. Lucie County progresses.

The already existing Career Center in Fort Pierce, located at 2102 Ave. Q – Room 16, Fort Pierce, FL 34950, is available to job seekers until the new center’s completion. Individuals can contact the center at 772-461-6293 for assistance. The Employment Success Workshop series and other key resources will continue uninterrupted during this period.

Additionally, while the Youth Connections location in Vero Beach will remain open, the Martin County youth services will be consolidated into the new St. Lucie County Comprehensive Career Center once it is fully operational.

Brian Bauer, President/CEO of CSRC, reiterated the organization’s commitment to serving the community during this transition. “Keeping the Fort Pierce location open through the end of the year ensures we can continue providing vital services without disruption,” he said.

The new Comprehensive Career Center, located in the Renaissance Business Park on Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, is slated to open in January 2025. It will serve as a hub for career development and support across the Treasure Coast, providing enhanced resources under one roof.
